Acts 2:42-47
42They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

What an awesome sight! This church was contagious, it was infectious and it was attractive! God wants all of us to be part of this kind of community.  What was so good about this community that everyone wanted to be part of? 1. Contagious community is Christ-centered: the focus and the reason for the community needs to be centered around the message of Jesus and the cross

2. Contagious community is Supernatural: the community has the deep sense of awe brought on by the work of Holy Spirit

3. Contagious community is Inclusive: together, everyone, not just some of them, ALL

4. Contagious community is Joyful & Generous: radical and profound encounter with Jesus results in deep joy and freedom from the worldly things

What if church today could look this good? Wouldn’t you want to be in this kind of community? We can become a contagious biblical community that God will use to change our city, our generation, and our world.
