Continuing from Exceeding Expectation – Part 1. Upon receiving the living water, something significant changes in the heart of the Samaritan woman at the well.

She no longer hold onto her old life, she leaves her water jar. She doesn’t need it any more, she’s received something so much more fulfilling and so much greater. When we invite Jesus into our lives and allow Him to search our hearts and expose our wounds, He comes in to heal us. Heal us whole so that we are no longer fixed on searching for God-replacements to satisfy us, but freely begin living with an overflowing joy and purpose for Him.

Jesus wants to complete you and he wants to exceed all of your expectations, because he knows you better than you know yourself and he wants what’s best for you. Often our fears and wounds hold us back from taking that step of faith to trust and follow Jesus in all we do. I may not know you, but God does, and Jesus loves you. He knows your fears and wounds, and He loves you so much that He wants to heal them.

The Samaritan woman leaves her water jar and runs back to the village, telling everyone about Jesus – the good news. It’s no longer about her past, her shame and her sins, but her heart is beating again with a passion. A passion for Christ.

If you were made whole again by Jesus, what’s the new purpose? New passion? What will make you come alive?

If you are reading this right now and not yet in a relationship with Jesus, or that you’ve been a Christian for a while but have been far from Jesus. If you want to begin/re-commit a relationship with God and live your life to the fullest that He has planned for you. Pray the following prayer and we believe that your life will never be the same again.

“Lord Jesus, welcome to my world. Come into my life, come into my heart. Forgive me of all my sins and make me a new person. I receive you now, as the Leader and Savior of my life. I boldly declare, that I will never be the same again and I will follow you the rest of my days. In Jesus’ name. Amen”

If you prayed that prayer, let us know >>. If you are in the Seattle area, we’d love to meet you at one of our future gatherings!
