What better way to kick off the fall season than awesome food, great company, and fun times? We hope you’ll join us for our 2nd Annual Hot Pot Extravaganza on Saturday, September 25th @ 6pm! We’ll provide the basic staples such as meat, veggies, and condiments. You bring your favorite to share– dumplings, noodles, tofu, or whatever you like.

CRAZY LOVE, BELLTOWN :: FRIDAY, AUG 27TH
Have you ever been a recipient of someone else’s act of kindness or on the receiving end of someone else’s act of love towards you? It feels good doesn’t it? Especially when it’s totally unexpected and comes way out of left field. Like it just hits you on the head out of no where, and you get BLESSED.
We all know what that feels like and we love it. And we’ve all been on the receiving-end of God’s crazy love for us demonstrated through his son Jesus coming to this earth to save us from our sin and to give us new life.
THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 27TH, WE GET A CHANCE TO NOT JUST BE A RECEIVER OF GOD’S CRAZY LOVE, BUT TO BE A GIVER OF IT.
We’re going to do something crazy and outright ridiculous if you really think about it. I mean, who in their right mind goes into the heart of Belltown loaded with cases of bottled water on a Friday night to stand there on the street and pass it out freely to anyone that’s thirsty?
And what do we want in return? NOTHING. 
Because when you love someone with the love of God, you don’t need anything in return. The only thing that really matters, is that that person who freely receives a bottle of water, would also know that he can freely receive the love of God. And that’s really all we want. That’s all we care about. We want them to know that they’re LOVED BY GOD.
When’s the last time you’ve done something totally crazy for God in response to His crazy, unexplainable, unconditional and scandalous love for you?
We hope you’ll think about joining us this Friday as we go out on mission with Jesus into the streets of Belltown with one simple goal in mind — to pass out free water with a simple message: YOU ARE LOVED.

- Meet on Mercer Island (3767-77th Ave SE) at 7pm SHARP for free pizza, logistics & details, last-minute training, and most importantly prayer & worship.
- Caravan from Mercer Island to Belltown, leave by 8:30pm and arrive by 9pm
- Pass out free water and love on people from 9pm – 10:30pm
- Leave Belltown by 10:30pm and head back to Mercer Island

- Seattle Harvest Community-Wide Prayer Rally :: Thursday, August 19th @ 7:30pm. Join hundreds of churches from all over Seattle and Bellevue as we gather under one roof to pray for a harvest for our city in preparation for Seattle Harvest. The prayer rally will be held tonight at Westminister Chapel (13646 NE 24th Street, Bellevue, WA 98005).
- Evangelism for Dummies Training @ {UNPLUGGED} :: Friday, August 20th @ 7:00pm. Have you ever wished that you could be better and bolder when it comes to evangelism and sharing your faith with your friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors? Join us at {UNPLUGGED} on Mercer Island (3767-77th Ave SE) this Friday, August 20th at 7pm for a free seminar on evangelism as Pastor Dale Kohaya shares with us a more holistic view and approach to evangelism and equips us with practical tools that will help any of us become more confident and effective in sharing our faith. - Neighborhood Canvassing :: Saturday, August 21st @ 9:30am. Join Pastor Nancy and other Lighthouse members as they visit door-to-door in the Phantom Lake area to invite our neighbors to Lighthouse for our upcoming series: A Daring Journey: On Mission with Jesus. {UNPLUGGED} CRAZY LOVE CELEBRATION – FREE PIZZA!!
Hey 29:11 Family!
We’ve had an amazing last couple of months studying Crazy Love and I want to thank you so much for journeying with us as we’ve been challenged and stretched in our faith. Whether or not you’ve been coming out to {UNPLUGGED} and doing the study with us or not — we want to INVITE YOU to come to our CRAZY LOVE CELEBRATION on Friday, August 27th @ 7pm on Mercer Island (3767-77th Ave SE). We’re going to be ordering up some pizzas and celebrating how God has been moving in our lives over the past couple of months through the Crazy Love study.
Additionally, we’ve decided that a Crazy Love Celebration wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t put some of that “crazy love” in action. So after we finish eating pizza and hanging out, WE’RE GOING TO HEAD INTO THE STREETS OF BELLTOWN, SEATTLE TO MINISTER TO OTHER YOUNG ADULTS WHO ARE DESPERATELY IN NEED OF GOD’S LOVE. It’s definitely going to be a faith-building endeavor as many of us step out of our comfort-zones, but we’re believing and praying that God will use us to be a tangible expression of His crazy love as we engage with those we encounter and share with them the hope, joy, and peace that we have in Jesus.
We hope you’ll consider joining us for our Crazy Love Celebration! We also hope that you’ll consider joining us at {UNPLUGGED} in the weeks leading up to the celebration as we receive some practical, hands-on training that will help prepare us to effectively minister to those we meet on the streets of Belltown on August 27th.

- Friday, August 13th @ 7pm :: MINISTERING IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Have you ever been in a situation where God was prompting you to minister to someone in need, but were afraid that you wouldn’t know what to say, how to say it, and how you would pray for them? Join us for an insightful, thought-provoking moderated panel discussion with some of Lighthouse’s most gifted and passionate prayer people (Pastor Keith, Celia & John Sekijima, and Kevin Chou) as we glean insights into how we can listen and be led by the Holy Spirit to effectively minister and pray for others.
- Friday, August 20th @ 7pm :: EVANGELISM FOR DUMMIES. Jubilee Service Day – Sign Up to Serve!
Sign up for Jubilee Service Day which takes place on Saturday, August 14th! It’ll be a great opportunity for us as young adults to demonstrate God’s love by serving our community in a tangible way. If you’ve never done it before, we get to roll up our sleeves and spend a few hours doing home improvement for houses and schools in our area.

Celebrate Easter Sunday at Lighthouse!

TASTE OF SMALL GROUPS BEGIN OCTOBER 21ST!
Interested in getting plugged in and joining a small group? 29:11 Taste of Small Groups will be starting Wednesday, October 21st and will be meeting for 6 weeks at the Lighthouse Church Office (1555 132nd Avenue NE Ste. A, Bellevue WA 98005), for a time of fellowship and “round table” discussions as we look at 6 key passages from the book of James.
It will be a great time to meet new people, get to know each other better and have a time of focused teaching and sharing around God’s word. Here’s the format:
7:00-7:15pm Gathering
7:15-7:45 Teaching
7:45-9:00 Small Group discussion
9:00-9:30 Snacks
