The Downtown Bellevue 29:11 small group is excited to host the first ever “29:11 Family Feud Tournament” on Saturday, February 4th at 7pm at the Lighthouse Center (275 118th Ave SE) in Bellevue.

The night kicks off with a potluck dinner followed by an interactive Family Feud tournament! We look forward to “feuding” with you all.

The winter Alpha course is right around the corner! Whether you are a skeptic, a seeker, a new believer, or a long-time Christian, Alpha is a stimulating 11-week practical introduction to the Christian faith and the perfect opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly, no pressure setting.

INVITE A FRIEND! Do you have a non-believing, un-churched friend, co-worker, neighbor, or family member that God has put on your heart that you could invite? Now’s your chance! Each session, people enjoy a great dinner, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like — Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?

COME TO OUR KICK-OFF DINNER! Before you or your friend commits to signing up for this free, 11-week course, come get a preview of what Alpha is all about at our kick-off dinner on Sunday, January 8th at the Lighthouse Center (275 118th Ave SE, Suite 100, Bellevue WA 98005). You’ll get a free dinner, hear stories from past participants, meet the facilitators, and learn more about what the Alpha course entails. The Alpha course will begin the week of January 22nd and will be offered on either Tuesday evenings in Newcastle, Thursday evenings in Bellevue, or Saturday mornings on Mercer Island.

TOSG’s Celebration!

If you didn’t already know, we love throwing parties every opportunity we get. With that said, we’re coming up on our last week of Taste of Small Groups (which has been a huge success!) and what better way to close things out and launch into our small groups than by having a party!

Even if you haven’t been coming out to TOSG’s, we hope you’ll join us on Wednesday, October 5th at 7pm at the Lighthouse Center (275 118th Ave SE Suite 100, Bellevue, WA 98005) for a night of food, fun, fellowship, and vision casting. You’ll get to meet our 29:11 Leadership team, small group leaders, and hear all about what’s in store for the upcoming year and how you can be a part of it!

We know God’s got great things in store for the ministry and we’re excited to see how he wants to grow, transform, and use each one of us for His glory and His purposes in this world!

Lighthouse Christian Church presents Labor Day BBQ @ The Park!

Join us at Crossroads Community Park (16000 NE 10th St) in Bellevue on Monday, September 5th from 11am – 3pm for a community wide outreach celebration filled with food, games, raffles, live music & entertainment, a bouncy house and more!

Purchase your pre-sale tickets ($5 adults / $2 kids) at church before or after both services at the Connecting Table. BBQ pulled pork burgers and hot dogs will be served by Steve Yip (Rainbow Catering). **Please bring a side dish to share.**

This family friendly all ages event is completely free to the community and our guests, so invite your family, friends and neighbors and come on down for a good time! This will be a great time for us to get to know and love our community outside our church walls.

We are excited to announce that ALPHA is back this Fall! Whether you are a skeptic, a seeker, a new believer, or a long-time Christian, Alpha is a stimulating 11-week practical introduction to the Christian faith and the perfect opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly, no pressure setting.

SIGN UP TODAY! Alpha will begin the second week of September and run through the end of November, meeting weekly on either Tues, Wed, or Thurs evenings depending on interest. If you are someone you know is interested in participating, please email royce@twentynine11.com or stop by the Serving Table after first or second service this Sunday to sign up.

Taste of Small Groups this Fall 2011!

Are you a young adult interested in getting plugged into a community and studying God’s word, but scared of committing to a group right away? Join us every Wednesday for 4 consecutive weeks (9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28) at the Lighthouse Center (275 118th Ave SE Suite 100, Bellevue 98005) from 7pm – 9pm and get a taste of what it looks and feels like to be in a small group, then make your decision. Every week we meet together as a large group for some teaching, then break up into smaller groups for discussion, and finally come back together for fellowship and food. 29:11 JRC Service Day!

Come join us for an upcoming and fun project with the Jubilee Reach Center! Their City projects is a partnership with the City of Bellevue Parks and Recreation and we’re looking for eager volunteers to spread trail cover at the Larson Lake Blueberry Farm. This is an exciting program because it serves not only to brighten up the neighborhood parks, but also importantly it provides financial resources to the community care fund which sustains their programs serving our marginalized population.

Date: Saturday, May 21st
Time: 9am-1pm. Lunch will be provided!
