{UNPLUGGED} CRAZY LOVE CELEBRATION – FREE PIZZA!!
Hey 29:11 Family!
We’ve had an amazing last couple of months studying Crazy Love and I want to thank you so much for journeying with us as we’ve been challenged and stretched in our faith. Whether or not you’ve been coming out to {UNPLUGGED} and doing the study with us or not — we want to INVITE YOU to come to our CRAZY LOVE CELEBRATION on Friday, August 27th @ 7pm on Mercer Island (3767-77th Ave SE). We’re going to be ordering up some pizzas and celebrating how God has been moving in our lives over the past couple of months through the Crazy Love study.
Additionally, we’ve decided that a Crazy Love Celebration wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t put some of that “crazy love” in action. So after we finish eating pizza and hanging out, WE’RE GOING TO HEAD INTO THE STREETS OF BELLTOWN, SEATTLE TO MINISTER TO OTHER YOUNG ADULTS WHO ARE DESPERATELY IN NEED OF GOD’S LOVE. It’s definitely going to be a faith-building endeavor as many of us step out of our comfort-zones, but we’re believing and praying that God will use us to be a tangible expression of His crazy love as we engage with those we encounter and share with them the hope, joy, and peace that we have in Jesus.
We hope you’ll consider joining us for our Crazy Love Celebration! We also hope that you’ll consider joining us at {UNPLUGGED} in the weeks leading up to the celebration as we receive some practical, hands-on training that will help prepare us to effectively minister to those we meet on the streets of Belltown on August 27th.
So to recap, here’s a quick run-down of what’s in store for {UNPLUGGED} in the next couple of weeks as we wrap-up our Crazy Love series!!
- Friday, August 13th @ 7pm :: MINISTERING IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Have you ever been in a situation where God was prompting you to minister to someone in need, but were afraid that you wouldn’t know what to say, how to say it, and how you would pray for them? Join us for an insightful, thought-provoking moderated panel discussion with some of Lighthouse’s most gifted and passionate prayer people (Pastor Keith, Celia & John Sekijima, and Kevin Chou) as we glean insights into how we can listen and be led by the Holy Spirit to effectively minister and pray for others.
- Friday, August 20th @ 7pm :: EVANGELISM FOR DUMMIES. Have you ever wished that you could be better and bolder when it comes to evangelism and sharing your faith with your friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors? Join us as Pastor Dale shares with us a more holistic view and approach to evangelism and equips us with practical tools that will help any of us become more confident and effective in sharing our faith.
- Friday, August 27th @ 7pm :: CRAZY LOVE CELEBRATION!! Join us as we wrap-up our Crazy Love study with a FREE PIZZA celebration dinner and as we make our way into the streets of Belltown to minister to our generation! More specific details will be sent out soon, but if you’re planning on coming to our celebration, we hope you’ll make it out to the meetings leading up to this event!
