CRAZY LOVE, BELLTOWN :: FRIDAY, AUG 27TH

Have you ever been a recipient of someone else’s act of kindness or on the receiving end of someone else’s act of love towards you? It feels good doesn’t it? Especially when it’s totally unexpected and comes way out of left field. Like it just hits you on the head out of no where, and you get BLESSED.

We all know what that feels like and we love it.  And we’ve all been on the receiving-end of God’s crazy love for us demonstrated through his son Jesus coming to this earth to save us from our sin and to give us new life.

THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 27TH, WE GET A CHANCE TO NOT JUST BE A RECEIVER OF GOD’S CRAZY LOVE, BUT TO BE A GIVER OF IT.

We’re going to do something crazy and outright ridiculous if you really think about it. I mean, who in their right mind goes into the heart of Belltown loaded with cases of bottled water on a Friday night to stand there on the street and pass it out freely to anyone that’s thirsty?

And what do we want in return?  NOTHING. 

Because when you love someone with the love of God, you don’t need anything in return. The only thing that really matters, is that that person who freely receives a bottle of water, would also know that he can freely receive the love of God. And that’s really all we want. That’s all we care about.  We want them to know that they’re LOVED BY GOD.

When’s the last time you’ve done something totally crazy for God in response to His crazy, unexplainable, unconditional and scandalous love for you?

We hope you’ll think about joining us this Friday as we go out on mission with Jesus into the streets of Belltown with one simple goal in mind — to pass out free water with a simple message: YOU ARE LOVED.

**CRAZY LOVE, BELLTOWN DETAILS**

• Meet on Mercer Island (3767-77th Ave SE) at 7pm SHARP for free pizza, logistics & details, last-minute training, and most importantly prayer & worship.
• Caravan from Mercer Island to Belltown, leave by 8:30pm and arrive by 9pm
• Pass out free water and love on people from 9pm – 10:30pm
• Leave Belltown by 10:30pm and head back to Mercer Island
